General background & information

The Linda gown was purchased at an Amsale trunk show early in Amsale Aberra's career, and the original owner, Linda, had a chance to work with Amsale directly during her appointment. This design was typical of Amsale's creations during that period; she often produced pared-back gowns with beautiful quality fabrics and a statement detail (or two). The statement here is, of course, the sleeves, which were formed by joining wide loops of fabric.

Linda is constructed from silk organza, which provides beautiful movement to the gown. Duchess silk satin was used to create the statement sleeves. These are mirrored by a wide silk satin band at the bottom of the skirt. This band provides balance to a look that could otherwise feel out of proportion. In lieu of a train, Linda has an oversized bow at the center of the back hem. The gown is finished with covered buttons along the back of the bodice.

Paired with a long veil, this is a whimsical, joyful bridal look that has the added benefit of a great history. Linda will come with the original owner's gorgeous wedding photos, as well as additional information about her bridal appointment with Amsale.
