Caroline is a vintage Carolina Herrera wedding dress featuring a square neckline, a dropped waist, and a box-pleated silk-satin skirt. The bodice of the gown is embellished with a repeating motif of embroidered and sequined floral appliqués.
 
The Carolina Herrera and Saks Fifth Avenue tags on the gown indicate that it dates to the late 1980s. The undeniable similarities to Caroline Kennedy’s 1986 wedding gown, also designed by Carolina Herrera, support this conclusion. Carolina Herrera began her bridal line in 1987, so it is likely that this dress dates from one of her first bridal collections. The condition is as flawless as it is possible for a vintage gown to be. It is such a treasure!
