General background & information
 
Evie is an absolutely exquisite bridal mini dress from Carolina Herrera's 2011 collection. The quality of this sweet dress is truly unparalleled, and it is truly fit for a day as important as your wedding day. 
 
Evie has a 50s vibe with its fitted bodice, boat neck, and full skirt. The skirt gets all of its fullness from the box pleats and exquisite quality of the silk faille fabric used in its construction. (Note that we do not recommend wearing a crinoline to increase the fullness in the skirt of this particular dress.)  Princess seams that extend to the skirt provide superior fit.

Please note that the bust measurement will be especially important with this gown, as the bodice is extremely structured and covers the full torso. With strapless gowns, there is sometimes some wiggle room with the bust measurement, but that is not the case with this dress.
 
Condition
 
This dress is in wonderful condition.
 
We are known for the excellent condition of our vintage wedding dresses, but because they are vintage garments, they will invariably contain some indications of age. These are unavoidable. We do our best to ensure that we have thoroughly examined every dress in multiple lighting conditions so that we can identify any flaws. 
 
Alterations
 
As a general rule, a gown can be altered down approximately two sizes, but can rarely be made larger by more than 1/2” or so. We cannot make determinations about what your seamstress will be willing to undertake. Please consult your own seamstress before purchasing a gown if you are uncertain about whether it will work for you.
