Samantha is a 1990s wedding dress from beloved British bridal designer Catherine Rayner. Despite its year of creation, the column/wiggle silhouette gives it a 1960s vibe. 
 
Samantha is constructed from Catherine Rayner's trademark silk dupion fabric, but this material is slightly denser and heavier than her typical silk dupion. The additional weight of the fabric helps the skirt maintain its tulip-like shape. 
 
Samantha has a scoop neckline, wide straps, princess seams, an inverted V waistline, and a high back. The bodice is finished with a row of silk covered buttons and handmade silk rouleau loops. The skirt has a flat front, but pleats at the sides give it shape. 
 
This is a very classic wedding dress that, like all of Catherine Rayner's creations, was made to the highest standards with the most beautiful materials available. It would make a lovely wedding dress, but is also a beautiful choice for a rehearsal dinner or wedding reception.

It is approximately a modern size 4. 
 
Note that this dress is extremely long for a column-style dress, so it can be worn by a very tall bride.
