Wednesday is unquestionably one of the most *extra* pieces we've ever had in the shop. Created by Italian designer Elvira Gramano, everything about it screams '70s: the mock neck, the crochet lace detailing on the bodice, the miles of jersey fabric...and of course the incredible attached cape.

Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. The exterior flat measurements of this vintage wedding dress are as follows:
 
Bust - 34"
Waist - 27"- 27.5"
 
This gown is approximately a modern size 4.

A note on the fit of the Wednesday gown -- While there is stretch to the fabric itself because it is jersey, do not assume the dress conforms to the body as with most modern jersey dresses. The waist seam is not stretchy, so there is not much wiggle room in the waist measurement; and the bust panels of cotton lace and rear zipper mean that there is also little stretch in the bust measurement.
