General information & background
 
Elizabeth is an ornate vintage Escada ball gown that would be a wonderful choice for a rehearsal dinner, reception, or civil ceremony. The gown is constructed from many layers of net, the top of which is embroidered with metallic threads and sequins. The bodice is extraordinary: the top of the bodice and the waistline are covered in very dense bead, rhinestone, and sequin embroidery in a repeating geometric motif. This lovely embroidery was carried out by hand. 
 
Elizabeth includes a separate crinoline that gives the skirt structure and shape (and also serves as a lining, as the gown is somewhat sheer without it). If you prefer more movement, you can of course go without it!

Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. The flat measurements of this vintage wedding dress are as follows:

Waist - 27"
Hip - free
 
This gown is approximately a modern size 4-6. 
 
Condition notes
 
Escada Elizabeth is in like new condition, and it even includes its original fabric swatch for use for future repairs if they become necessary. It was purchased new by the previous owner and worn only one time.
