General information & background
 
Mirabel comes to us from 1990s British bridal label Fiorito. It is constructed from many, many yards of silk dupion in a rich ivory shade that is tinged with the slightest hint of shell pink. The bust and off-shoulder sleeves of the bodice are overlaid with dense guipure lace. Mirabel has a dropped Basque waist with piped trim and a heavily gathered, voluminous skirt. Mirabel is finished with three silk rosettes at the back waist and an extra-long train. (The train is so long that it took us almost an entire day to steam it out to take these photos!)
