Belgian designer Kaat Tilley has been one of my favorite under-the-radar designers for years, and I couldn't have been more excited to find this unbelievably beautiful, blood-red evening gown. It is not just a work of art; it is a work of genius. The gown consists of two conjoined layers - an underlayer that extends to the floor and a shorter overlayer. The overlayer wraps around the body and joins on each side via a long line of functional ties. At the base of the ties, the underlayer releases to form a dramatic train. The tie detail at the back is mirrored by the ruched detail along the front of the bodice. The gown is further enhanced with soft pickups to add more texture. 
 
Megaera is made of crisp silk taffeta. 
 
Condition
 
We are known for the excellent condition of our vintage wedding dresses, but because they are vintage garments, they will invariably contain some indications of age. These are unavoidable. 
 
We do our best to ensure that we have thoroughly examined every dress in multiple lighting conditions so that we can identify any flaws. However, we are only human, and there is always a possibility that we may have missed something. Minor flaws are not grounds for return. With that in mind, please review the following notes:
 
Megaera is in like-new condition with no notable flaws. It is being sold with the original garment bag.
