General background & information
 
Laurence is a 1990s wedding dress that was designed and made in Belgium. We obtained this dress from a high-end French bridal boutique that closed long ago; it is a store sample that has never been worn.
 
Laurence is a full A-line gown constructed from silk taffeta. It features a subtle metallic embroidered trim along the edge and back of the skirt panels. What makes this dress really stand out is the neckline. The plunging sweetheart neckline is accented with bias-cut silk strips, which are echoed along the back.
 
Laurence is one of our more unusual and striking dresses. Although it is definitely vintage, it has a more contemporary vibe because it is sexier than vintage wedding dresses tend to be. It is a good choice for someone looking for a unique, high-drama wedding dress that also showcases the best of vintage fabrics and embellishments.
