Guinevere is a staff favorite! This sweet vintage Monique Lhuillier wedding dress puts us in mind of the couture creations of the 1950s by designers like Ann Lowe, down to the color and quality of the pink duchess silk satin used to create the gown.
 
Guinevere is all about the details - which, in this case, are the duchess silk satin rosettes. These were made by hand, and are placed strategically in the folds of the pickups in the skirt. Fabric rose buds trail over one shoulder strap, providing balance to the heavily embellished skirt. 
 
This is a variation of the popular Camelot gown by Monique Lhuillier (hence the name).
 
Sizing & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. The flat measurements of this vintage Monique Lhuillier wedding dress are as follows:
 
Bust - 38"
Waist - 30"
Hip - free
 
It is approximately a modern size 10. Note that the bodice has already been let out by the previous wearer, so there is likely no room to expand the size any further. 
 
Condition notes
 
Guinevere is in very good vintage condition. As noted above, the gown was previously altered. It was let out at the side seam, so there are subtle stitching lines near the seam. In addition, the straps were likely taken up during alterations.
