General background & information
 
This archival Oscar de la Renta mini dress, from the Fall 2013 collection, is a fun, sparkly mini that would be perfect as a dancing dress. The fabric, which has a pattern of polka dot sequins, catches the light beautifully. It has a boat neckline, a classic shift silhouette, and a knee-length skirt. (Note the placement of the fabric at the zipper. The half-circle of each polka dot meets on either side of the zipper to create a full polka dot. This is one of the hallmarks of couture fashion.) Eliza is fully lined in silk. 
 
We have styled it with a vintage fur jacket for a little more drama, but the jacket is of course optional (and is not included with the sale).

Eliza is approximately a modern size 6.
