Sourced from Italy, the Alessia two-piece is a bridal ensemble that walks the line between romantic and playful. The structured corset top is made of soft, matte chiffon that has a slight pebbly texture. It has decorative lace-up panels along each side to emphasize the shape of the waist. (Note that these are not functional. The corset closes with a zipper in the back.) The neckline has a subtle dip and subtle peaks at the top of the bust points.
 
The skirt is made of soft Italian cotton lace woven in a floral motif. It is gathered at the waist to give it fullness and movement. 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications.
 
The exterior measurements of the corset are as follows:
 
Bust - 35"
Waist - 28-29"
 
The exterior measurements of the skirt are as follows:
 
Waist - 28-29"
Hips - free
 
It is roughly a modern size 6. 
 
Condition notes
 
We are known for the excellent condition of our vintage bridal attire. However, vintage gowns will always contain some imperfections that result from being worn and/or stored for decades. We make every effort to review each dress thoroughly and disclose every issue we can find. With that in mind, please review the following notes:
 
Alessia is new old stock, meaning it is new with tags. It is in excellent condition. There is slight residue on the interior of the bodice, which appears to be the remains of a long-lost sticker.
