General background & information
 
Versatile Anita is the ultimate '90s British bridal ensemble! Anita has three parts: a corseted bodice, a column skirt, and a detachable train. All three parts are constructed from duchess silk satin. The corset employs advanced corsetry and seaming techniques for a next-level fit. It has a Basque waist with a deep point (reminiscent of Victorian-era Basque bodices), thin off-shoulder straps, and a neckline embellished with beads and pearls. Note that Anita does have a back panel, which would prevent exposed skin in the back, but our model preferred the look of the corset without the back panel. 
 
Anita's column skirt has a back slit to ease the wearer's movement, and a showstopping, double-layered detachable train that provides both drama and an easy transition from ceremony to cocktail hour. 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications. The exterior measurements of this dress are as follows:
 
Bust - 33"+
Waist - 25"
Hip - 37" 
 
Anita is approximately a modern size 2. 
 
Note that there is some wiggle room in the size of the corset because it is a functional corset, so the back panel can be extended or removed to give the wearer more room. However, the bust cups still may not accommodate someone with a D cup or larger.
