We are so sorry, but after careful consideration, we have decided to remove this lovely dress from sale because we are concerned that the delicate French silk lace may not be able to withstand future wear. 
 
General background and information
 
Sourced from France, Bretagne is an ultra-romantic gown named for one of our beloved staff members. 
 
Bretagne is constructed from gold silk taffeta and ivory true Chantilly lace.  The use of a darker base fabric for the Chantilly lace makes the beautiful lace motif more prominent, and makes this clearly read as a lace gown. 
 
Bretagne has a wide off-shoulder neckline with silk taffeta draping at the top of the bodice, which extends into long lace sleeves. It sits at the natural waist. The sleeves are finished with covered buttons at the wrist. 
 
The silk taffeta skirt is heavily gathered and voluminous, thanks to a large amount of crinoline and a tulle underlayer. The skirt is open at the back, revealing the tulle base. It has a detachable train with oversized gold silk flowers adorning the attachment point. 
 
It is our understanding that Bretagne was used at a runway shoot and was made to the model's specifications. It is an extremely petite gown in both size and proportion.
