General background & information
 
Caroline is a sweet, romantic vintage wedding dress perfect for someone who, like us, (1) loves bows, and (2) appreciates a garment that is made to the highest standards. The interior of the bodice is a work of art in itself. It contains a significant amount of boning and support, but from the outside of the dress, it looks like it is a second skin. Despite all of the structure, the gown manages to retain a loose and whimsical feel.
 
Constructed from duchess silk satin, Caroline features a V-neck bodice with a dropped waist, puff sleeves with handmade duchess silk satin bows, and a dramatic train with a sweet bow accent at the end. Caroline is finished with a line of covered buttons at the back bodice.
 
Caroline could be worn with a full crinoline (or two) to give a more dramatic shape, but we have chosen to show the dress without a crinoline for a more fluid, soft A-line silhouette. 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. The flat measurements of this vintage wedding dress are as follows:
 
Bust - approximately 37"
Waist - 30"
Hip - flexible
 
This gown is approximately a modern size 8. 
 
Please note that Caroline is unusually long for a vintage gown, so it is appropriate for someone who is tall.
