General background & information
 
This delightful vintage mini dress was custom made in Italy in the '90s, and has recently made its way to Vionnette. 
 
Flavia is made of silk taffeta. The heavily ruched bodice has a high square neckline, 3/4-length sleeves, and a dropped waist. The voluminous knee-length skirt is studded with oversized twill bows. It is finished with a wide band at the hem. 
 
It is difficult to source vintage bridal minis from this era, so we were very happy to find such a fun, unique dress! 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. Flavia's measurements are slightly more difficult to obtain because of how ruched the bodice fabric is, but the approximate measurements are as follows:
 
Bust - 36" to 37"
Waist - 29" to 30"
 
This mini dress is approximately a modern size 8. Please note that the hem of the skirt is narrow and has no stretch, so it is somewhat restrictive. 
 
Condition notes
 
Flavia is in very good vintage condition, with wear commensurate with its age. There are some scattered small, light marks that are visible on very close inspection. Because the bodice is so heavily ruched and the fabric is so reflective, any such marks are much more difficult to see than they would be otherwise.
