General background & information
 
Freya is another beautiful '90s British wedding dress, and we are very happy to have her in our collection! The gown is constructed from silk dupion in a lovely shade of soft copper or dusty pink (it's difficult to describe - or capture)! Freya has a straight neckline with a detachable wide halter strap. The neckline is accented with a silk charmeuse fold over and bow detail at the back bodice. The bodice has a Basque waistline in both the front and back, and is finished with covered buttons at the neck and back bodice. 
 
Freya has a column skirt with draped detailing in the front. That draping is a feature common in '90s British wedding attire, and our brides absolutely love it. The skirt has heavy gathering at the back waist, which creates a dramatic train. 
 
Freya is very glamorous and is a staff favorite! 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications. The exterior measurements of this dress are as follows:
 
Bust - 32"
Waist - 24-25"
Hip - 38-40" (depending on how snug the wearer would like the skirt to fit)
 
Freya is approximately a modern size 0-2. However, it seems to wear a bit larger than the size would indicate, more like a 2-4.
