General background & information
 
Karey is the quintessential '90s British wedding dress! Constructed from luxe duchess silk satin, Karey features a strapless bodice with heavy boning for extra support. The bodice features a Basque waistline, and it is embellished with a small scattering of hand-applied crystals. The bodice is finished with a line of covered buttons.
 
Karey's column skirt has gentle draping below the waist to create some visual interest, and it has an attached train that is created by gathering a large amount of fabric at the back waist. This skirt style has been extremely popular among our brides because it is comfortable and easy to wear, and you get the best of both worlds: a figure-enhancing column skirt and a dramatic train. 
 
Karey is an absolutely stunning dress that works well as a single dress for those who don't want to change for the reception.
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications. The exterior measurements of this dress are as follows:

Approximately a modern size 18 (but may fit up to a 20-22, depending on body proportions)
