Featured on the cover of Vogue Weddings Italy in 1994, this peau de soie ball gown is luxe, romantic, and classic. Taking inspiration from the Renaissance, Ophelia has an undeniable vintage vibe, but doesn't tip over into "costumey." This is in part because the details are applied sparingly, and because the neckline is so striking and dramatic.

Ophelia has a wide portrait neckline, elbow-length sleeves with guipure lace accent, a dropped waist with subtle beaded detailing at the waistline, and covered buttons to the waist. The skirt is heavily gathered, full, structured, and dramatic.

The overall effect is a high-impact gown that feels as appropriate for a formal church wedding as it does for an Italian garden wedding.

Ophelia is new old stock, and it still has its original tags.
