General background & information
 
Sourced from the UK, Tilly is a metallic jacquard A-line gown. The fabric has a subtle, small-scale floral motif woven in. It is a soft silvery-blue shade that reads very differently on different skin tones; it leans more toward blue on softer, warmer skin tones, and more silver on cooler tones. 
 
The bodice is heavily boned in the back and front, providing a significant amount of support and structure. It has a scoop neckline, wide-set straps, and full back coverage. The waistline is a dropped Basque waist with a deep point. 
 
Tilly's skirt is heavily gathered, but because the fabric has a drapey, liquid feel, there is not much volume in the skirt. It falls in a gentle A-line with beautiful movement and flow. The skirt is extra long for a vintage dress and can accommodate a bride of up to 5'11". 
 
The gown is finished with a large statement bow at the back waist, which can of course be removed if you're not a bow person! 
 
Tilly pairs well with a veil made of ivory shimmer tulle, as shown here.
