Iconic and extremely rare 1996 Vera Wang wedding dress in stellar condition. This is one of the most well-preserved vintage wedding dresses we have ever seen. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to wear such a spectacular vintage Vera Wang wedding gown.
 
Features
 
Satin-face silk organza trimmed with duchess silk satin, off-shoulder neckline, dropped Basque waist, full pleated skirt with soft bustle effect at the back waist, and sweet bows accenting the entire front of the dress. 
 
Although a bustle was added, we believe this lovely Vera Wang was never worn.
 
Sizing & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you; please see our guide to measuring yourself here. The measurements of Cosette are:
 
Bust - 38"
Waist - 30"
Hip - Free
 
It is tagged a size 14, but is equivalent to a size 12 on our modern size chart. 
 
Alterations
 
As a general rule, a gown can be altered down approximately two sizes, but can rarely be made larger by more than 1/2” or so. We cannot make determinations about what your seamstress will be willing to undertake. Please consult your own seamstress before purchasing a gown.
 
Condition
 
We are known for the excellent condition of our vintage wedding dresses, but because they are vintage garments, they will invariable contain some indications of age. These are unavoidable.
 
We do our best to ensure that we have thoroughly examined every dress in multiple lighting conditions so that we can identify any flaws.
