The perfect vintage Vera Wang mini dress for a courthouse ceremony, rehearsal dinner, or reception dress! Gianna is constructed from dense, shiny duchess satin. It has a wide square neckline, wide straps, and an interesting layered skirt that gives some visual interest to this '60s-inspired dress. Princess seams extend the full length of the overlayer, which provides superior fit and enhances the natural curves of the body. The back of the skirt has an attached short train that is heavily gathered, adding to the playfulness of this mini. 
 
Original Vera Wang bridal mini dresses (as opposed to those that were later shortened) from this era are extremely rare, as are vintage Veras in sizes larger than a 12, so this is a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of American bridal fashion history! 
 
We love the styling in the runway images, shown in the last two slides. It enhances the '60s flair of this fun dress. Fun fact: the woman in the plaid suit in the bottom right corner of the runway photos is Anna Wintour. 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications. The exterior measurements of this dress are as follows:
 
Waist - 33"
Hip - 42-44"
 
It is tagged a size 16, and is roughly equivalent to a modern size 14-16.
 
Condition
 
We are known for the excellent condition of our vintage bridal attire. However, vintage gowns will always contain some imperfections that result from being worn and/or stored for decades. We make every effort to review each dress thoroughly and disclose the issues we can find. 
 
Gianna is in excellent vintage condition without notable flaws.
