Vera Wang Halsey

General background & information
 
Vera Wang Halsey is a late 1990s slip dress constructed from the luxurious, dense silk crepe that was one of Vera's trademark fabrics during the 1990s. The gown is covered in trailing beaded appliques. The appliques, all beaded and applied to the dress by hand, feature a pretty botanical motif. The delicacy of the appliques contrasts beautifully with the chic, modern feel of the gown. 
 
Halsey is finished with a line of silk-covered buttons and a small puddle train.

This dress has been previously altered, and it is petite in proportion. The measurements of Halsey are as follows:
 
Bust - 32"
Waist - 27"
Hip - 32" (with stretch)
 
The length from the bottom of the V-neck to the floor is approximately 52".
 
Condition
 
Vera Wang Halsey is in lovely condition. We are known for the excellent condition of our vintage wedding dresses, but because they are vintage garments, they will invariably contain some indications of age. These are unavoidable. We do our best to ensure that we have thoroughly examined every dress in multiple lighting conditions so that we can identify any flaws. 
 
Alterations
 
As a general rule, a gown can be altered down approximately two sizes, but can rarely be made larger by more than 1/2” or so. We cannot make determinations about what your seamstress will be willing to undertake. Please consult your own seamstress before purchasing a gown if you are uncertain about whether it will work for you.
