General information & background
 
Julianne is the quintessential Y2K Vera Wang wedding dress. Made from soft silk crepe, Julianne features a softly draped cowl neckline, spaghetti straps, and a gently fitted skirt. The back is finished with a faux corset with Petersham ribbon ties. (The real closure is a zipper hidden along the left side seam.) Julianne's soft, pared-back look is right for someone seeking a minimalist, "clean" wedding dress without architectural features and harsh points. It's impossible not to draw the comparison to Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's unforgettable Narcisco Rodriguez wedding dress; this is Vera's take on that iconic gown.
 
It was purchased by the original owner at Barney's in New York. The gown originally had a large crystal embellishment at the shoulder. It was removed before cleaning and not replaced because we preferred the gown without the embellishment, but it will be included with the purchase.
 
Sizing & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications. The exterior measurements of this dress are as follows:

Hip - 38" (with stretch)
