Katharine is a chic, sculptural two-piece bridal ensemble from Vera Wang's 2011 collection. We are in love with this spectacular wedding look! Vera's Spring 2011 collection was one of her most diverse and interesting, featuring ethereal, layered ball gowns alongside Vivienne Westwood-inspired draped gowns like this one.
 
Katharine is constructed from crisp, light-bodied silk faille. The lighter weight of this silk faille allows it to be folded, manipulated, and draped without overwhelming or totally disguising the figure of the person wearing it. The bodice is elongated and has an asymmetrical, rounded hem. The draping comes together at the back in a dramatic origami half-bow with an extended tail. The skirt is a simple fit-and-flare silhouette with no adornments to distract from the bodice. 
 
Our version of Katharine is new and unworn.
