Often imitated, never duplicated: this is the exact dress made famous by the character Elizabeth James from the 1998 version of the film The Parent Trap. Leia is the ultimate vintage Vera Wang short wedding dress for a courthouse ceremony, wedding rehearsal, or wedding reception. 
 
Leia is made of champagne-toned silk chiffon and champagne mesh, with accents of champagne duchess silk-satin at the neckline and cuffs. It has a softly flared skirt and is designed to fall approximately at the knee (although it can of course be hemmed shorter). It is clean, simple, and as classic as it gets. 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications. The approximate exterior measurements of this dress are as follows:

We are known for the excellent condition of our vintage bridal attire. However, vintage gowns will always contain some imperfections that result from being worn and/or stored for decades. Leia is in excellent vintage condition. There is an area of discoloration on the skirt lining near the hem, which does not affect the exterior layers of fabric and is not visible on the exterior of the dress.
