Margot is a classic vintage Vera Wang wedding dress dating from the early 1990s. Vera has embraced black accents in her bridal line since the beginning of her design career -- including in her earliest gowns, designed when she first opened her Madison Avenue boutique in 1990. In fact, this style was so strongly associated with Vera Wang that one of the few Vera Wang Barbies wears a similar black-trimmed, high-necked gown. 
 
Our version of this iconic dress features an off-shoulder neckline, dropped waist, and black velvet trim along the neckline, waist, and hem. It is accented with black velvet bows that have pink silk flowers at the centers.

Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. The flat measurements of this vintage wedding dress are as follows:

Vera Wang Margot is approximately a modern size 0. 
 
Please note that this is a very petite gown in both size and proportion. The front length from the natural waist to the floor is 42". The shoulders are narrow, and the future wearer may require that the back of the gown be brought down. 
 
Condition notes
 
Margot is in remarkably good condition for its age. It is clean and ready to wear. The petals of the fabric flowers at the center of velvet bows have lost structure from age and have grown floppy. Flowers can be removed, rewired, sewn in place, or left as is.
