General information & background
 
This gown is timeless with a twist -- a very vintage Vera twist! Morgan is a pared-back, elegant bridal look from the front. Constructed from duchess silk satin, Morgan has an off-shoulder neckline and soft A-line silhouette. The clean lines of the gown are emphasized by its princess seams (which provide a superb fit) and lack of a waist seam, so there is minimal distraction. 
 
The back of the dress is another story. It is accented with covered buttons and an oversized statement bow at the rear, which subtly evokes Victorian bustles. Like the rest of the dress, the bow is made of duchess silk satin, and it features square edges and cutouts. Square edges like this are very difficult to accomplish with a dense fabric like duchess silk satin, so while the bow is visually simple, it is technically difficult to achieve. 
 
We love Morgan because she has the best qualities of vintage Vera Wang wedding dresses, and she has an unmistakably vintage vibe. 
 
Size & measurements
 
Measurements must be used to assess whether a gown will fit you or can be altered to fit you. A gown can usually be made 2-3 sizes smaller without compromising the design, but can rarely be made more than approximately 1/2-1” larger without making major modifications. The exterior measurements of this dress are as follows:
