General background & information
 
This 2002 Vera Wang wedding dress puts us in mind of Victoria Beckham's iconic 1999 bridal gown.
 
Stella has a cat-eye neckline and a dropped waist. It is constructed from Vera's trademark silk duchesse satin in a cool, rich ivory shade. The standout features of this vintage wedding dress are the panels of handmade French lace that extend from the side waist into a dramatic train. The lace is an exquisite quality that is unlike anything else we have in the shop; the pictures of it are beautiful, but it really needs to be seen in person to be appreciated!
 
Stella is a classic Y2K Vera in the sense that the focus is on the quality of the materials and the simplicity of the design. It's a pared-back, elegant, timeless, and unforgettable choice.
 
Stella has been previously worn but remains in excellent condition. The dress was probably only worn for the original owner's wedding ceremony, and she then changed into a different dress, because there are few indications of prior wear. However, it has been altered.
