General information & background
 
Stephanie is a gorgeous vintage mini dress that dates from Vera's earliest days as a bridal designer. The bride and her family saw the dress in Vera's shop window while walking down Madison Avenue, immediately went inside, and bought it on the spot. While they were in the shop, they had the chance to meet Vera (and Vera's father).
 
The bodice has a shawl collar, lace inset, and short sleeves. The skirt, made of pleated silk organza, is hemmed with a narrow, invisible trim to provide body and movement. 
 
This is an exquisitely made garment, full of the type of details and finishes that are only found in true couture vintage clothing. The construction quality is what we would expect to see in couture garments from the most important designers of the 20th Century. Stephanie is a real treasure.
