The Vera Wang Whitney wedding dress -- named for its original owner -- is a contemporary classic. Whitney purchased this gown for her 1997 wedding at a trunk show at Neiman Marcus, during which Whitney met Vera herself! 
 
The Whitney gown has a duchess silk satin bodice with a boat neckline, side button detail, a dropped S-waistline, and shoulder straps that end in Vera's signature tiny bows at the back. The skirt is constructed from satin-faced silk organza, which gives it beautiful movement and swish. Box pleats add to the clean and classic look.
